Lidar: Mapping the Great Salt Lake
Geo Week 2027 announced a keynote presentation on the Great Salt Lake, a project using bathymetric lidar to map the lakebed, wetlands, and deeper-water environments. The presentation will take place during Geo Week, February 23–25, 2027 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The keynote will explore the challenges of data collection in a dynamic lake environment and the importance of understanding the lake's changing landscape.
